Pumping Pumping is one of the most important aspects of any water reticulation system, whether it be stock water or a community irrigation scheme.  SICON pride itself on having the skills and experience to develop a solution for every situation.  

Consultancy and Project Management Services Good design is fundamental to the success of any project and SICON Rural offer full design and project management services for all your irrigation and effluent management requirements.  We can help prepare fully peer reviewed designs that meets both your capital and operational budget requirements and assist you taking these to the market in a tender format or to selected suppliers for quotation.  This service can include helping you review all submissions, whether SICON Rural is involved in the physical construction or not.  With the cost of water and gaining access to it getting more and more expensive, mistakes at the design stage can see you never maximize your returns.  That’s why we believe in many instances the current design (no charge) build model adopted in the irrigation industry often results in shortcuts that reduce capital cost making the particular offering look more attractive, but in the long run these may never be as efficient as they could potentially be.  The bigger the project, the greater the complexity and SICON realize farmers are not always able to manage these project effectively themselves as they are not specialist in these areas.  Our trained project managers are able to assist to ensure projects are completed correctly, on time and within budget

Water Control. Metering and Telemetry The National Environmental Standard for Water Meters comes into force on Nov 10 2010 and water meters progressively become mandatory for water users from that date.  While SICON can assist you in meeting the requirements of the standards, we can also help you gain benefits from using metering and telemetry technology, well in excess of the mandatory compliance requirement.  Talk to our trained consultants about adding value to your operation through effective water management.
